Basic Structures

An overhead structure is a pair of uprights that bolt onto the rear of a work bench. They extend up approx. 38" and will allow the addition of any of our workstation overhead structure components. We have (3) different styles of basic structures to choose from which all of them can be divided in the middle with the addition of a center upright. Once an overhead structure is divided, then all of the half width overhead shelving accessories will also be available options for your workstation.

Straight Uprights (Pair)

This is our basic style overhead structure made up with a pair of straight uprights that will mount to the rear legs of any of our workbenches. The uprights are 57" long overall which allows for 38" of mountable area above the work surface. All overhead accessories we offer will mount to these straight uprights.

Fixed Top Shelf

This style overhead structure set-up has a fixed 16" deep top shelf which acts as a shelf along with a light hood for the fluorescent light fixture we offer. The top light hood/shelf is punched for the addition of 12" high hoop dividers in case a top carton shelf is desired with this style overhead structure. A light is not supplied with this unit, but can always be added.

Angled OCS with Light Support

The angled overhead structure was designed to get the light fixture up and out of the workspace area. This style structure comes standard with a light support that will accept our standard fixture. We offer extentions for this structure particularly when a tool track and trolly is needed on the workstation. The standard overhang is 22" and with a tool track it will be 27".

72" Angled OCS w/ Light

The angled overhead structure was designed to get the light fixture up and out of the workspace area. This style structure comes standard with a light support and our standard (2) bulb fluorescent light fixture. We offer extentions for this structure particularly when a tool track and trolly is needed on the workstation. The standard overhang is 22" and with a tool track it will be 27".

Split overhead Structure with Fluorescent Light

The split overhead structure with fluorescent light fixture will bolt onto any Stackbin workbench. The unit includes the angled overhead structure with light support and fixture, along with another set of uprights that will mount in the center. All of our half width overhead structure accessories will work with this structure.

Split Overhead Structure w/ Straight Uprights

The split overhead structure allows the rear overhead portion of the workstation to be divided into (2) sections that will accept all half width shelving accessories we offer. We offer pegboards, spool holders, and computer accessories that can replace the shelving on one side if the application requires. Full width accessories are also compatible with any workbench that has the split overhead structure.
