APPLICATION PROJECTS

BED, BATH AND BEYOND:
CUSTOM PACKING WORKSTATION.
 Stackbin custom designed this ergonomic packing table with bubble wrap dispenser for the new Bed, Bath and Beyond distribution facility in Las Vegas.

The packing table was custom designed to have the work surface even with the outbound conveyor system which had a 47" elevation. We needed to supply a 12" high wood platform (72"x30") so operators could work at an ergonomic 35" work height. Under bench shelving includes 30" depth horizontal shelves, vertical box storage units as well as a 24" deep pull-out tray for tall boxes. The packing workstation also features a 50" high overhead foam packing and bubble wrap dispenser with a guide system for routing of the packaging materials.

The process began with preliminary discussion about the specifications of this unit to development of multiple line drawings to get the design perfect. Upon approval, 80+ units were ordered and shipped which included right and left handed configurations as well as 16 open style Stackbin computer cabinets. All product installation was personally handled by Stackbin Staff.
